In Roman lore, wearing a serpent alongside fruit was a tribute to Ceres, the goddess of harvest. Women wore jewellery as amulets featuring snakes as they believed it was a way to protect their energy and ward off evil.
Our Strawberry serpent earrings take inspiration from ancient tales where serpents also symbolised rebirth and renewal and strawberries, the sweetness of life.
They are two symbols that rarely meet in the wild, but come together in these earrings. Featuring two natural red garnet gemstones.

This one of a kind statement earring was hand sculpted and cast in solid recycled brass with 18ct fine gold applied.
Our earring posts and backings are sterling silver, individually hand-soldered for maximum strength and longevity. A superior standard of craftsmanship rarely found in commercial jewellery today.
Finished with a professional grade anti-tarnish E-coating. This is a superior method of gold plating and ensures the gold maintains its vibrant lustre for years to come.
Our entire jewellery range is hypoallergenic, nickel free and suitable for those with sensitive skin.
Gemstone: We use high quality natural red garnets that are sustainably sourced from our partners in Jaipur, India.
